Sounds as if its a syphon setup. I have one, an open bucket with sand that you stick the tube into and the sand is syphoned to the gun by pressure at the gun. I consider it useless. This kind: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=44762 has the sand in a pressurized container. The pressure forces the sand to the nozzle. I'm not real impressed by anything that HF sells anymore. We call it the chinese hardware store. but this is just a pressurized container so it may be worth the investment. I believe that the best setup is a pressurized system with the cabinet. I doubt that the vacumn would make the syphon type work any better. I always thought that vac was to improve vision. I'm sure that someone else on the list knows more about blasting systems than I do. rick On Mon, 4 Mar 2002 08:49:01 EST [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > Rick, > > I suppose its a siphon feed.
