I picked up some sidepipes a while back..I've sat beside the car but never installed them. My tubing is 3inch with the grill portion being around 4 inches. Slammed to the ground might cause a nice spark show at night. Then again it is always tough to keep the exhaust off the ground when slammed. Torch Tech sells exhaust systems from 2 1/4 to 3 1/2 for many applications. I helped install on on a 70 firebird. It was a 3 inch system that tucked up under the car very nicely. Are they terribly loud? I am also planning on putting a Air Ride kit on the car. Will the side pipes get in the way of me slamming the car to the weeds? > What is the diameter of the pipes (the entire unit? I am talking about the ones made by DynoMax. Who makes the SuperRam EFI kit for the BBC? Is this a straight forward install or is it difficult? I like the simplicity of the carb, but EFI does have some benefits.
