Sidepipes are generally pretty loud, but loud is subjective.  For example, I like the sound they make, and I also think that my Flowmaster exhaust is too quiet...

Subject: [Chevelle-List] EFI and Side Pipes

I am toying with the thought of putting side pipes on my 69 Chevelle.  Anyone seen this before or had any experience with them?  Are they terribly loud?  I am also planning on putting a Air Ride kit on the car.  Will the side pipes get in the way of me slamming the car to the weeds?  What is the diameter of the pipes (the entire unit?  I am talking about the ones made by DynoMax.  Who makes the SuperRam EFI kit for the BBC?  Is this a straight forward install or is it difficult?  I like the simplicity of the carb, but EFI does have some benefits.  Let me hear some of your thoughts on this.
