Tough question! The manual isn't real clear on this. (I work for a company
that designs ships. We always know where the 0,0,0 datum is.)

Based on taking some measurements on my car and comparing them to the 1967
Assembly manual UPC 11-13, sheets B1 and B3, and UPC 1, sheet C1, it looks
like the longitudinal 0 is the hood hinge rear bolt and the +5" location is
the upper and lower front fender bolt at the firewall. The upper and lower
bolts are in line vertically. Vertical 0 looks to be at the centerline of
the front wheel spindle. That's the best I can come up with.
