oops sorry. 540

Well…..
A/C is a pain to add to a car. If you are set on having this I would definitely buy a factory AC car. A big block could always find its way in place of the 350. In terms of power there is no replacement for a big block. At the same time a decent 350 is no slouch. If its going to be a highway cruiser r something just to enjoy driving around a Small Block will eb fine. If you want something that’s more aggressive and has tons of torque there is no way to argue with a rat.
Good Luck

P.S. Power is a disease. I am building a 540cu/in RAT EFI w/ a turbo – I am a very ill man

Subject: [Chevelle-List] Help with new purchase.
So, I am looking at 2 cars. One is a 71 SS convert. 350 with air. The other is a 454, no air. How hard is it to add air to a car? Does it lessen the value, since it wouldn't be original? I think that I would paint the 350, not crazy about the color. Am I really screwing up not getting the 454? I had a 350 before and it was plenty quick, but I always wanted it to be quicker, but I also have a 14 year old who will be wanting to drive it and I'm wondering about a new driver with all that power. All thought would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Mark
