My dad works for GM and what he has heard is more or less what has been
released. The Monaro will be coming with only minor cosmetic changes
and will have an LS1 in it. It will initially come as a 2 door but it
appears it may come as a 4 door there after (I think this would be
awesome).

Cadillac also has some exciting developments. The 2004 Seville (Dubbed
simply the STS) will be rear wheel drive and will have a higher output
version of the northstar V8. It also may have a forced induction
option. (for competing with an 540/M5/E55AMG) A 6 speed is very possible
for the Seville as it is already a console car. Cadillac is also going
to build the Cien in limited numbers. It will be a 750HP mid engine
rear wheel drive car. It is expected to sell for $250K or so and there
will be 250 made/year for the first few years. The CTS crossover
vehicle is set in stone as well. It will be v6 or v8 powered with rear
or all wheel drive. Its similar to the crossover concept of a few years
ago. We have all seen the commercials for the XLR (the roadster) that
will be in stores by the end of this year.

Talk about some exciting stuff from GM!!!

e-mail if anyone wants more info. I'm not allowed to say too much about
certain things - but I'll say what I can

You take that view and I'll say that it'll be a RWD with
a 6-speed and an LS1...strangely like Australia's Holden
Monaro. Shall we put $500 on it? ;^)

Latest I've heard is that it'll be a Monaro (or close to
it) with a Pontiac-designed nose and the above
drivetrain. IIRC it'll be a 2-door.
