Its an all new platform with their new V-12.

It's a normally aspirated 4 valve per cylinder 7.5L v-12 putting out
over 750HP and around 450lb/ft of torque. It has been dubbed the
Northstar XV12. It will be in a mid engine rear wheel drive layout.
The transmission is a 6-speed semi-automatic with electronic paddle
shift. The XV12 is likely to make its appearance (de-tuned) in the next
Deville or even in the up and coming STS. It is very close in size to
the current Northstar motors and could even be used in a FWD
configuration but is certainly usable in a front engine rear wheel drive
application.

The Cien will be primarily carbon fiber and will have all aluminum
suspension components. Cadillac is farming out the production aside
from the drivetrain and will most likely be selling 250 of them per year
at $250,000 each. I'm not sure when production is going to start.

Well I hope that answers some questions!

Let me know if you want more info
