I have a distributor that i need to install in '69 with a 454. I know nothing about distributors nor how to put them in so if someone could help me out i would appreciate it. I would like to do this before it gets dark today. I have a distributor that say its ready to run. Do i just place it down in the slot and put the plug wire in the same whole they were on on the other distributor and bolt the retainer down? Then after this set the timing.
