doe any one know..... i was looking at a GM resoration parts book, there are no pictures, only descriptions, i thought gm made all the parts listed in the book, the gm parts mgr said no, they get them from the place listed, like classic industris, or goodmark, is there a book which shows the parts gm actually is remaking?? i ordered some door handles for my 68, they came in gm boxes, (from year one) i paid 42.00 each for them, i could have gotten them for 23.00 from the gm dealer!! i looked for them in this restoration book, they were not there, it just looks like parts gm does not make are in there. is the only way to know, to ask trim parts before you order, "is this made by GM?" if they say yes, say no thanks??? then i would need a gm part # right? (to order from GM). is what they make a secret or something???,
