I debated on getting a car already finished, when I bought mine all I really
thought I needed was a headliner and carpet...... WRONG!!!! After really
going through the car it was said that I had some work ahead of me, I
learned a lot out of it many things that I couldn't do my brother would show
me how to do it (imagine being 16, and never really messed with brakes all
that much and doing a whole disc brake swap.... not fun, especially without
instructions and using parts that weren't meant to be on the car). My hats
off to those who can do it all also, I didn't paint my car or do the finish
work on the body. But I'm learning thats why I bought my 69 stepside, only
have $300 in it so when I go to paint it I won't be mad if it turns out
wrong!!! In ways I kind of wish I would have bought totally redone cars, but
then I wouldn't have had such a learning experience. But no matter what if
you built your car from the ground up or if you bought it finished either
way your still an enthusiest and you have excellent taste in rides!!!
