i myself have no problem with cars not restored by the owner with one exception. i have seen the following too many times. the guy who won't admit he didn't do the work. there is nothing wrong with buying a finished car. but when you sit there and make false statements or conceal who did the work i get mad. again there is nothing wrong with having a "10" but if you didn't do the work don't hide the facts. not long ago a guy wrote an email about his car to this list. . i know for a fact that he didn't do his car himself. i wrote him offline about some things. i asked him several questions about the restoration. not once did he answer the question honestly. why he chooses to be that way is beyond me.
