Then the el Camino's tranny still needs reworking.
So, I'm thinking of selling it. Don't want to, but I don't see having any extra cash soon, and it would be nice to have a reliable (inexpensive) truck.
So what's it worth?
1969 SS el Camino. 427 motor, power steering, no AC but it does have the dash outlets. New paint, will supply pics if needed for your guess. Good frame, no rust, all straight.
Rally wheels with a little rust, and a little rust on the bumpers front and rear. Front discs,; cloth bucket seats; rear window tint. 12 bolt rear end; 4 speed manual close ratio that pops out of 4th gear; clutch seems okay. 850 holley carb, probably could use a rebuild, but adjusts okay frequently. headers with the air injector pipe on top. Good headliner, carpet fair, needs a radio too. door panels okay.
The car is in Walnut Creek, California.
Any ideas?
Thanks guys
David
