Tim, I dunno, kind of sounds like you've got a cam/timing/valve problem there. Originally I was going just on the knock, assuming the engine ran fine. But sounds like something in the valve train has screwed up. Whatever made it run bad in the first place probably contributed to the knock. Good Luck! Don
> Don, It was running so bad and retarded, because when the problem first started, it was intermiten. The car would run fine, but then all the sudden just studder and misfire like crazy, and now it just does it all the time. I should also tell you the motor is out of the car, on an engine stand.
