I have bad wheel hop. I put gas charged Delco shocks on the back during this restore. A guy I talked to today said he had a Mustang that wheel hopped bad when it had gas shocks on the back, removing the gas charged shocks helped the problem.
One data point does not make a trend for me. My Chevelle had air shocks on it when I bought it, it wheel hopped then too. That's two data points. Air shocks and gas charged shocks would act the same on the axle, pushing it down. Does anybody have any experience with this as a cause of wheel hop? A few reported samples should prove or disprove this theory.
