I'm afraid you are wrong on that one. My Dad had a 69 el camino, red with a black vinyl top, that I wish I could get my hands on today. It had a 307 with a powerglide. The reason that I know for sure that it had a 307 in it is because I blew his up for him when I was a kid. He really appreciated me doing that for him. I don't know why he didn't kill me........
