From what I’ve heard and read, powder coating is a better process than painting, unless you are going for originality. I sandblasted and painted the frame of my ‘69 and it turned out great. But who knows how long the finish will last on the street. I will tell you that sandblasting, if you do it yourself, is very time consuming and labor intensive. I did mine in my driveway and boy were my neighbors happy. If I had to do it again, I would find someone who did it for a living and have it powder coated, I just love how clean and neat a good powder coat job looks.
