JJ is right, but let me add a few details. Jack up the car from under the differential w/ a hydraulic floor jack. Put jack stands under the frame. Lower the car until the weight is primarily on the stands, but the floor jack is still supporting the rear. Disconnect the lower rear shock mounts. Slowly lower the rear until the springs are basically falling out. You may have to disconnect the rear control arms as well to get the springs loose enough, but you definitely don't need a spring compressor.
