I gotta agree with this statement...I drove an LS-7 BB 1967 Camaro in 1976 for about an hour. It was for sale in El Paso, Texas for $6k and I didn't buy it (stupid). It had the M-22 tranny...WOW! To this day I've never been in or driven a faster car. I never even floored it and it still gave me the biggest goose bumps I ever had in ANY vehicle (including the airliners I flew in as a child). Given the choice of any tranny to choose with a BB, I'd go four speed in a heartbeat. Automatics are great in traffic...I have two of 'em...but they are NO FUN if you're just cruisin'!
