307 was available from 1968-1972. I have owned 3 Chevelles with a 307. My 69 has one, I had a 70 that had one, and I ha da 71 4 door that had one. We were just discussing whether or not it was avaialable as an option in a 72 SS car. i know I read somewhere that it was. I'm gonna have to do a little research on this to find out.
