  Should of pointed this out in the previous e-mail, but here goes.  After reviewing the pictures that were posted on eBay for the NOS plates, and then you contacting the seller asking to see "pics" of the copies he made....I tend to believe the ones he sold on eBay were probably the copies as well.  And that the reason he has not sent you a set of "pics" is because he would likely send you the same photos that were posted on the eBay auction, and you would likely be "concerned" for the winning bidder having thought he bought NOS pieces, when in fact they were reproductions. 
 
Does this sound logical, or maybe I'm just too suspicious ?

I missed the firewall plates on e-bay NOS never been installed went for $250.00 I contacted the seller and asked if he ever came across them again to mail me ......he came back and said he made copies of original and would sell me a set for 100.00 I mailed back and said I was interested but asked to see pics of copies ......that was almost 2 weeks ago have heard nothing , in meantime I found a shop in Michigan that has the main firewall plate only they want $275.00 !!!!!!!   and he says he has a box of dash plates but not sure what the chevelle one looks like so I got him the GM pn and working on a picture
