Henri,

It is not the engine, but the catalytic converter that makes for the
unleaded requirement.  Does Holland require conversion to unleaded fuel?
I have no idea why the fuel filler lid would say unleaded only, as that
did not start for another seven or eight years after your car was made.


Check the exhaust system to see if you have a converter and muffler, or
just a muffler.  If you have no converter, use whatever fuel you want.
If you have a catalytic converter, you will need to use unleaded.
Unless you really drive the engine super hard, you will not damage any
engine running it with unleaded gas.
