This may sound like a silly question, but what is the standard hose size (I.D.) for a BBC water pump? A rep from Cool Flex said that every big block (not just Chevy) the he's seen has a 2" I.D. hose outlet. On their site, when ordering a lower hose kit and checking the Big Block box, they come back with a 1 3/4" on one end and a 2" reducer on the other. I just replaced the radiator in my 67 big block car and double checked the lower hose and it's 1 3/4" on both ends. I'm using a Summit (long) water pump that I've had for close to 15 years now...have they changed or do I have an odd pump?
