Tim,
I have a stock 4 speed console in my 68 that came with the car. The only
feature is the storage compartment. It is in good shape & I like the way it
looks. Since the interior is completely stock I prefer a stock console. If I
had a radical custom interior then I'd go with a custom console.
Money is irrelevant when working on these cars. It just means you have to
save longer & crimp more.
