Hi Al,

Put the key in the ignition switch and turn it to the "accessory" position (IIRC), then stick a paper clip in the little hole.  Now turn both the key and paper clip together in a counter clock wise direction and the lock cylinder should pull out.

If it doesn't work like I described, just play around with it a little bit and I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Subject: [Chevelle-List] ignition switch

Hi,
I have a 66 chevelle SS and I need to get the ignition switch out, I know that it has something to do with that little hole that's right next to the key slot but nothing seems to work. What's the secret?
AL
