The little hole is for inserting a paper clip into. Rotate the key to the on position and insert the paper clip. That will get the cylinder to pop out. Then you need to remove the escutcheon (a.k.a. bezel) by rotating it. OTTOMH, I believe it has to go counter-clockwise.
