Actually Steve, I have used it for body parts but I feel its a bit too abrasive to do a car body. You would need to be real careful not to warp any metal and would need a good primer filler to take out the mild texture this abrasive leaves. For the frame it's great. Cuts through rust like butter. For the body I would use plastic, walnut shells or glass beads (in that order). These can all be used in a conventional blaster. Sorry I only know what I've read about dry ice and baking soda so can't recommend them. Maybe some of the other guys who mentioned these types of media can help you more with them.
