Im sorry to piggy-back on your topic, but I can't seem to send a new message
to the server- I keep getting a returned mail- rejection error message.

I have a 70 SS454 with a Muncie-M21. Like many cars that have seen better
days, my shifter hump is pretty much a big hole. I just ordered a
replacement shifter hump (with console) from Ausley's Chevelle parts (item
SH682W).
I ordered on line because I don't have any catalogs from anybody. I got
the hump today, but I'm not sure if it is the right one for my car. I
envisioned the hump as having a relatively square hole for the shifter, but
the one that arrived had a long, narrow rectangular hole about 2 1/2" wide
by 8" long. To me it seems like it is an automatic hump. Additionally, the
opening appears to be centered along the top of the hump. The online
catalog doesn't specify between auto and manual, it only specifies "1968-72
Shifter Humps w/console- $64.95"
My car and the console are at the shop and I can't get to them to do a
"test fit". If anybody has any info about this, please let me know at
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. Hopefully it works for both autos and manuals.

Thanks,
Steve
