Well, good news! Ron is back to work on my 69 El Camino. He says the glass is back in and he's going to block it one more time and put another coat of primer on.
My question is, what's the procedure for having a shop install Flowmasters? Do I need to buy them and bring them to the shop? I was hoping I could just buy them myself and bring them to the local Meineke or whoever bends their own pipe. Right now all I have on the car is two open pipes that end underneath the floorboards. I'm thinking about the three-chamber version because it's not a race car, but I do want it to have a little bit of a rumble. I have a friend who has the two-chamber Flowmasters on a 70 SS clone, and it's too loud for what I want (although he has a 454 and I have a 283, but still).
