I recently changed my rear suspension trailing arm, braces, springs and shocks. I went with Edelbrock boxed trailing arms with polyurethane bushings, Edelbrock braces, Edelbrock IAS Performer shocks and Hotchkis 1" lowering springs (after waiting 4 months for Edelbrock to ship my original spring order - it never happened). The ride is good. I haven't had the opportunity to check out the traction, yet.   I have the complementary shocks and springs for the front. I'll put them in over the winter. I put standard rubber bushings in the front last year and I'm happy with them.   The bushings, springs and shocks werre pretty much shot when I bought the car, so any change was going to be an improvement. It will be driven on weekends to events and an occasional drag race at the Baytown strip. I want the ride to be good with traction being second importance. I would like to know who makes the best components for this application.
