Opps... oh yeah... easiest way to change the fluid is get a power bleeder or one of the vaccum hand pump kits. Most shops have power bleeders that make the job easy. If you just drain all the fluid out you will have to bleed all that air out and risk the PIA job of getting the prop/combo valve center again which many people have problems with.

Also a prop valve will cause problems with you rear brakes... most times them locking up. So I don't think this would be your problem. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Chevelle-List] Brake help

Took the Elky out for a drive yesterday, now that I got my driver's window, and noticed the car pulled to the left a little when I'd step on the brakes kinda hard. I checked the brake fluid on it, and it had to be the worse looking brake fluid I had ever seen! It looked just like mud!

So what would be the best and easiest way to replace the fluid? Open up the bleeders and start pumping? Basting the fluid out? Also, what would cause the car to pull to the side during hard braking? It has been converted to power disk brakes, seems like donor parts. Maybe in need of a proportioning valve?

Thanks,

Gino
