[Chevelle-List] 69 chevelle firewall tags

i have a bit of a mystery maybe someone out there has ran across something similar, my VIN numbers show,  the car to be a 6 bagger, but the fire wall tag or cowl tag, show a to be a v8,, also on another 69 chevelle   the paint code was never place on the tag just two small lines, it was my understanding that these tags where check before living the factory, the original color is light Forrest green but it will be either datona yellow or morocco orange, , what i have here is two perfect clone's one a copo clone and the other an ss clone or a maybe a yenko clone, two bad i don't have build sheet ofr both cars, but would never sell them has true cars, because there no more suckers left in the world, and it, s illegal
