Sorry for being so vague. I am having a hard time finding a cheap differential. All the junk yard look at me like I have two heads when I ask if they have any rear ends. A friend of mine is junking a 87 Buick Regal and it seems to mount the same, but I haven made measurements as the car is not local. Are the bushings diffrent or is it completly diffrent and I should just froget that idea?
  Thanks,

P.S. who do I write to about recieving all of the posts twice?

Trying to read between the lines. You have  a67 El-Camino that is in need of a rear . No not any  RWD GM rear will bolt in.
The years taht will bolt in and be the same width are 64,65,66,67 10 bolt in 64 and 10 and 12 bolts in the other years.
you still have two different spring perch mounting configurations,  You my also use  68 to 72  A body 10 and 12 bolt rears. But there  wider width
will severely limit your tire size and rim width.

If a RWD GM has coil springs in the rear will that rear end mount in any RWD GM? (With the exeption of concidering the overall width backing plate to backing plate)
