sounds more like connection are no compatible, or components not interchangeable, go back are start at the beginning circuit by circuit  isolate each path way, you got something cross big time, , maybe start by disconnect the positive cable on the battery, and stick a test light between the cable and the post see if you have a draw, if so then you know that a ground is involve. but i still think its a connection problem, hope this helps
