I currently have a one owner 1969 Chevelle 2door hardtop Malibu for
sale. This car is 100% original, numbers matching. It has a 350/300 hp
motor and TH350 trans and with GM factory air conditioning. The rear end is
posi, with unknown gear ratio. AM/FM stereo with special order rear
speakers. Car runs great, motor and tranny have never been touched. Needs
new brake line to the rear wheels as it has a small rust hole next to one
of the frame clamps just in front of the drivers door. Car was used for
occasional pleasure driving up to about 4 years ago, at which time it was
parked because of the brake line. Car currently runs and drives, and is
still driven occasionally (just have to be careful with no rear brakes).
Have the window sticker and all literature from when new. All chrome is
there, and bumpers are in good shape. The exterior is the original gold
with black vinyl interior. The interior is in near perfect condition, with
excellent headliner / door panels / dash / seats /carpet...... The only
issue is that there is a small 2 inch tear in the seam of the front seat
where the driver would usually sit.
Car has rust in the quarters behind the rear wheels, with some rust in the
bottom 1 inch of the front fenders directly behind the front tires. Doors
have some surface rust on the bottom inside edges. Floor pans are solid,
but trunk has some rust holes next to the wheel wells. Some surface rust
starting around the rear window chrome trim. That is all for body rust.
Car has 107,xxx miles on it...
Want to sell to someone who will do something with the car instead of
letting it sit any longer like it currently is doing.... I have pictures
that I can email to anyone who is interested. Currently taking offers for
the car. The only thing that needs to be done to it would be to replace the
shocks and a rear brake line. Other then that, it is completely drivable
still and runs like a dream. I will be putting it up on ebay because I need
to move is asap.
