I'm in
the middle of installing new headers and Flowmaster exhaust system on my '71 350
Malibu. The Hedman instructions say you should have an exhaust hanger near the
header collector. The American Thunder exhaust doesn't come with a hanger in
that location, and my old header system didn't have a hanger there either.
Should
I mount new hangers near the header collectors? If so, should they go
on the transmission cross member?
