Goodmark is coming out with a steel cowl induction hood for '68-69's. Not sure if it is available yet,though. Cost is $460 + freight. Both VFN and Glasstek will both build a custom 2" cowl hood for a little over $600/ea + freight. I am thinking hard about a 3" but am trying to justify the extra cost & wait. Does anyone have a 4" cowl hood they could send me a photo of? Total price to my door was $552,including state taxes and freight. The only downside is the fact they only build a 4" hood,nothing shorter. GlassTek wants $600 + freight to custom build me a 3" cowl hood but has a twelve week delivery date. VFN quoted me $625 for a custom built 3" cowl hood + freight and a four week delivery time. I really do not want a 4" tall cowl scoop so I guess that leaves Harwood out of the picture. At this point,VFN looks like the way to go for me.
