Well, I got the exhaust system & shocks & springs in today. next week will be break stuff and wiring harnesses, and tires. I really don't think I'll have it at the MCC show.
I'm not happy with the bodywork. It will look decent going down the highway, but there are definitely problems. If I keep it more than a few years, I will probably have to have it done over. Ron said that he thought it was "a good job for what I have into it" (meaning money), but for $9,000 for paint and bodywork (which does not include any parts mind you - I supplied those) I really think it should have come out better. It definitely needs to be buffed out and hopefully it will look better after that, but there are also things that buffing won't take out. Things that are just plain crappy work. In any case, I'm going to use it the way it is, at least for a while. I don't think there is any point in bringing it back to Ron for anything else, and I'm glad that I got it home safely.
