I don't know what y'all have yourselves worked up about... Or maybe I'm just the eternal optimist.
I'm making the drive from Nashville, TN to North East, MD for the show, and I ain't gonna let some overpaid prognosticators put a damper on my weekend! If any of y'all recall, we had the same forecast for Chevell-abration, and had three beautiful days of weather instead. In fact, the early morning overcast helped keep the temps down, and when the crap burned off later in the day, the sunshine was more than enough to make everyone break out the sun screen. Late afternoon showers are just part of the everyday prediction for this time of the year, at least for those of us living outside the arid Southwest. Like Donnie says, those "six-figure weenies" didn't get it right earlier, I doubt that they are gonna get it right now, either! They definitely aren't gonna tell me how to spend my weekend! My bags are packed, so is the Chevelle, and I'm out the door soon's I finish my email. I'll see you listers with the balls to brave the forecast and break out your Chevelles at the show... the rest of y'all will just have to wait 'til later to listen to the great time everyone had, and about all the great Chevelles that showed up.
