Use anti seize on the threads of your new lines, whether SS or not. SS is especially bad about gaulding the threads and self-destructing. I have bought SS brake lines from both Inline tube and Classic Tube. Both provide good quality products, but I will give the nod to Classic as for good service. hope this helps.
