Hi Herb: Spent the afternoon with my guru Bob Wilcox of MCC. You know who got in the trunk with the flashlight. Wasn't bad though. Found both leaks. The easy one appeared to be a small piece of the trunk weatherstripping. We put alittle goop on it and hope it seals. The other spot appears to be from the rear window molding area. The curse of Chevelles. Like someone said Sunday, "They leaked right out of the factory." Gotta pop out the rear windshield & see whats going on in there. Hopefully it's just a reseal and not a rust out job.
About trailers, now that I know I leak, I plan to watch the weather channel even closer and stay out of the rain. A little spritzy shower if caught won't hurt to bad. It was so beautiful driving yesterday, I think I'll tuck the trailer thing in the back of my head & just enjoy the rest of the summer. Got a lot of cleaning up to do this weekend so not going to any shows. Especially since I was learning to judge front & rear suspensions, exhaust systems & undercarriages. Damn all that &%#&+@ RAIN. See you at the Laurel Parade & Show July 5? BTW. Thanks for the Ron Davis Radiator stuff. Showed it to Bob W. and he got right on the phone & ordered dealer info brochures. Appears to be the Griffin alternative as their prices are UP!!
