have a 84 305 from a chevy truck along with the th350 that was with it.
i'm thinking of dropping it into my 67 so i can go thru my 283 and powerglide.
anyone familiar with this and/or forsee any problems?
The 305 and T350 should fall in place.
The T350 goes in place of the Powerglide easily: same mount, same crossmember location(90% certain), same driveshaft length and yoke.
The linkage is different so that will need addressed.
I lucked out and found a mid sixties mid sized Buick with a column shift which bolted right into my 64 and had the same hookup as a Turbo 350.
There is kit to convert floor shifts available. Check Super Chevy for ad.
You might find you want to keep the T350 after you get the 283 redone.
My 250 six really liked going from PG to 350.
