cable question
Some come out with the
plier channel lock way otheres are a real PITA
Those I put a 1/4
hose clap around the finger/Fluted sleave little back of the backing
plate.. spray some WD-40 at it
and work it lose then through till the clamp bottoms out.. Remove
the clamp and finish removing it..
IF Iam trashing the cable
I use a BOLT cutter and lop'em off

Subject: [Chevelle-list] 66 E-brake
cable question
Hey guys,
What is the proper way to compress those
fingers on the ends of the emergency brake cable? It looks like if they are
all squeezed together than the cable will come out of the backing
plate/floor. I tried to do this with a pair of pliers but wasn't getting
anywhere.
Thanks!
