Hi, I had that problem with my chevelle a while
back on the drivers door (there was no mirror on the pass. side, haha).
But anyways, it would get out of alignment whenever I would hit a pretty large
bump in the road, or repeatly closing the door. What I did, I unscrewed
it, and then took it out, theres a notch under the mirror that I never knew
about, and instead of the notch going under from a backwards direction to lock
in, instead, the guy just threw on the mirror and screwed it as tight as he
could. So I did it the right way, and the mirror never moved again.
Try that.
