Sharp makes a good unit.  Gravity feed works good because when you are out
of paint there is no spitting unlike the conventional suction feed guns.  I
haven't personally sprayed with a gravity feed gun so I cannot comment.
Typically HVLP guns use a lot of CFM's of air which requires a large
compressor, but the newer ones they are coming out with use less and less.
I was on the job yesterday and was working with the new DeVilbiss HVLP
spraying High Solids Polyurethane on Case/New Holland hoods and they came
out great.
