There isn't any lead. But there are a million welds you have to drill out. I just did mine this past July.I can email you a couple of pics if you like.

Anyone removed the filler panel  o a 66 chevelle  that sits between the rear window &trunk area.
Do you have to melt the lead out &drill the welds?
