How long did it take you to cut it out?
Did you have to drill any welds out or did you just cut down the seam?
Did you weld your new panel back in?

just did it on my 65 and used a Dremel tool with a cutting disc. I did not try to melt it out in an effort to keep the warpage from the hot wrench to a minimum.
