Thanks Clint, I will keep it in mind. At this point I should not even being considering the things I am I doing to the Elky. It's all Herbs fault. Right at this moment I have a freshly built 421 tri power engine on the stand in my shop, a custom built 700R4 with all the amenities from Bowtie Overdrives in a box beside the 421. Ron Davis is building a custom rad. for it and all the extra stuff needed to mount up is on order, and here I am messing with a perfectly good El Camino. I have a customers beautiful 64 Buick Skylark conv. all to pieces in the middle of a complete resto and here I go messing with the Elky. Did I mention that it is Herbs fault? I have several things I want to do to the Elky, like the rear end change to allow the 17 by 10s to fit, a trans upgrade to a 5 or 6 speed, more HP etc. But my prioritys are all out of wack. The customer is happy with the pace and quality of his resto. The Tempest transplant is gonna be wicked , so how on earth have I gotten side tracked in to messin with my very nice fully functional Elky? You got it, It's all Herbs fault. The least he could do is come down for a week or two to help me get back on track. Anyway, I do appreciate the ideas and comments coming from the list. Just need a few 48 hour days to get back on track.
Thanks
Mike
