I'm sure it's a cultural and maybe language miscommunication. Exchanging e-mails with a guy in Germany talking about Chevelles, it never dawned on me before, but many enthusiasts are hesitant to build SS clones. Reason? Not because they're called 'clones', but more often it's the SS emblems. Many SS owners are inclined to remove them. Think about it.
