I agree I'd give him probably until this weekend to reply; maybe send
him (?) an e-mail every other day.  You also might check to see if he's
actively bidding on any other items or has any for sale.  I'd contact
the next highest bidder and see if they are still interested pending
outcome of this weekend with original winner, just to cover bases.  If
not, contact eBay and explain a deadbeat buyer.  They usually will let
you relist the item at no cost and not charge you the original selling
fees if it does sell.  You'd have to check their current rules on that.
It's been a while since I've had a non-buyer and had to relist.

Contacting e-bay and asking for help is like trying to reach the dead, they as worthless when it comes to issues. If you get a response you will be lucky, but they will be the first to cancel your auction if something is not right
