[Chevelle-list] 69 Wiper Motor

I am having a little trouble with my wipers on my 69 chevelle.  The drivers side wiper doesn’t seem to go down all the way when I turn the wipers off.  It stops just above the windshield trim.  I was thinking maybe it was the motor but then I started reading about wiper transmissions…   Anyone had this experience?
